A family and
friends MS150 cycling team (established 2002) |

Ordinary people are taking extraordinary
challenges to make a difference in the world. This year, 75,000 people will
ride in an MS Bike Tour somewhere in the US. Locally, 5500 riders
and 1200 volunteers participated in the City to Shore Ride on September 20
and 21, the best MS 150 on the East Coast!
It was a fully-catered, volunteer-supported, scenic Tour from Cherry Hill to
Ocean City, NJ.

A note to our sponsors

As we wrap up the 2003 MS 150 City to Shore bike tour, we
would like to say thank you for your unwavering support. This has been
a very exciting year for us as we embarked on our journey in the fight
against Multiple Sclerosis. We made our team debut as Mark's
Tsunami Riders and more importantly, due to your generous donations, we
exceeded our team fund raising goal of $25,000!
And from the
Delaware Valley Chapter MS 150 "Captain's Corner News"
Mark's Tsunami Riders:
 |
won "Outstanding Rookie Team" Honors
|
 |
was the 18th ranked "Top Fundraising Team", and
|
 |
was runner up in "Highest Fundraising Average"
|
 |
became a member of the 2003 Team Super Achievers "Diamond
Club" for raising over $20,000

Fact sheet, January 2004
On October 29, the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the National MS
Society honored the many individuals, (including our own
Betty as one of the honorees in the
MS 150 City To Shore Bike Tour Mission Possible Club)
and organizations that made 2003 a successful year for fighting MS. Thanks
to these honorees, the chapter can continue providing top-notch support to
its clients while helping to fund over 300 ongoing research projects into
the cause, prevention and cure of multiple sclerosis.
